This salad is very delicious, can be eaten immediately and is original from our Serbian friends, being neighbors with them. Vinobrand is a preservative from them and has very good properties on salad. This salad is in trend here in Denta. And I say it's incredibly good even if I repeat myself.

  • 2 kg of gogonele
  • 3 kg of bell peppers
  • 5 kg of cabbage
  • 3/4 otet
  • 250 gr sugar
  • 150 gr salt
  • peppercorns
  • Bay leaves
  • 1 pack of wine

RECIPE PREPARATION Assorted salad with Vinobrand:

Wash the gogonele and peppers, then cut into thin slices. Chop the cabbage and mix everything in a larger pan. Add salt, pepper, bay leaves, sugar and vinegar and mix well. Leave it to soften for 2 hours, stirring constantly, then add the vinobrand. Leave it until the next day, stirring from time to time. We like to see if we need more salt or vinegar and we can add more. (I used 1 l of vinegar)

The next day we put in sterilized jars in time, we stuff them well in jars so that they don't have air.

And the salad is ready, as I told you it can be served immediately.
