We spread this cream with a spoon over the countertop in the tray. Place half of the plums on top from place to place, then sprinkle the 2 tablespoons of sugar over them. Bake for 30 minutes.

Allow to cool, sprinkle powdered sugar on top, cut with a knife soaked in hot water and serve.

2 large apples
7-8 plums
4 eggs
100 g sugar cough
150 g flour
3 tablespoons milk
75 ml of sunflower oil
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
a teaspoon of ground cinnamon
two tablespoons powdered sugar

Method of preparation
We peel the apples, remove the spine, then cut them into thin slices.
We wash the plums well, break them in half and remove the seeds!
Beat the eggs, add the caster sugar and beat for another 3-4 minutes, then pour the oil and milk.
Homogenize well.
The sifted flour is mixed with baking powder and baking soda, then added over beaten eggs.
Wallpaper a tray with baking sheet and pour the composition, spread everywhere and level with a spoon.
From place to place we place halves of plums, and around the plums we place slices of apples. Sprinkle ground cinnamon on top.
Place the tray in the preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes on a high flame, then 15 minutes on a suitable flame.
Cool the cake in the pan, then cut into squares and dust with powdered sugar.

Plum cake

The plum cake is one of the homemade cakes that can be made until late autumn.

Fast, simple, without baking powder, baking soda or other growth agent, it is very easy and light and good with great passage to everyone!

  • 6 eggs
  • 250 g white flour
  • 250 g sugar
  • 400 g plums
  • 40 ml oil
  • a sachet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • a little salt

Method of preparation

Separate the egg whites from the yolks.

Mix the yolks with the oil, like mayonnaise. Add the vanilla sugar.

Mix the egg whites with a pinch of salt, then add the sugar in three stages, mixing after each stage.

Mix until the composition is firm, it forms spikes to the touch and the sugar is diluted.

Add lemon juice and egg yolks with oil.

Homogenize by stirring gently from the bottom up, moving at the same time, circularly, the bowl in which you mixed.

Add the previously sifted flour and at the end the diced plums that you have previously powdered with the flour.

Homogenize everything by mixing gently, lightly with a spatula until everything is perfectly incorporated,

Pour the composition for the plum cake into a 20 by 30 cm tray and level with a spatula.

Put the tray in the preheated oven and bake the cake on stage 2, at 155 degrees (low heat for the gas stove) for 45-50 minutes or until it passes the toothpick test and is slightly golden on the surface.

Cake with plums, nuts and cottage cheese in dough

The dough is made extremely fast, and for this you have to use the food processor.

In the bowl of the robot put the cheese, the egg, the sweetener, the milk, the oil, the rum essence. We start the robot and let it do its job, maximum 1 minute, until the ingredients are well mixed, and the result is an extremely fine cream cheese. Mix flour with salt, baking powder, baking soda. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ones, gradually, 2-3 tablespoons at a time, turn on the robot and let it do its job for a few seconds. The ingredients are mixed immediately, we repeat the operation until we finish the flour to be incorporated and we have a firm and non-sticky dough. With a spatula we turn the dough on a baking paper, we sprinkle a little oil over the dough, and with the rolling pin we spread a sheet of dough as much as the tray in which we bake the cake.

We put the dough with the baking paper in the tray, on top we powder the dough with ground cinnamon, over the cinnamon we put halves of plums with the cut side down, we powder the plums with cinnamon, and on top we sprinkle a little raw sugar. Put the tray in the oven heated to 160 degrees C, for 40-45 minutes.

20 minutes before, that is, about half the time, we sprinkled chopped walnuts on top. Put the tray in the oven until the remaining time expires. Allow the cake to cool in portions and serve, or boil about 70 ml of water, allow to cool slightly (not to boil), add 1 tablespoon of honey. Pour this syrup over the hot cake, leave to cool completely or until the syrup has absorbed, portion and serve. It's a delight! May it be useful to you !!

Method of preparation

Step 1: The preparation method is a classic one, and we have to start with butter (necessarily soft) and sugar. I used powdered sugar this time to make my life easier, and to reduce the time of mixing sugar with butter.
Okay, after mixing the butter with the sugar, add the yolks one by one and mix well after each one.
Add the sifted flour together with the baking powder, alternating with the milk, and mix at low speed.
Beat the egg whites hard with a pinch of salt, then lightly incorporate them into the composition. So far nothing difficult.

Step 2: Divide the composition into two parts, however equal they may be. I left a little more for the brown part, because I thought that if it is down, it will take more quantity to look as high as the white one. I don't know if what I'm saying makes sense, but that's what I thought: P. Ok, so in the (slightly) more part add the two tablespoons of cocoa and mix lightly.

Step 3: Wallpaper a 24 / 24cm square tray with baking paper and pour the brown part. Carefully place the white part over it and level it.
We cut the plums into quarters and "stick" them in the tray from place to place. Bake at 170 degrees for 25-30 minutes, you see depending on how it swells / browns / smells in the kitchen. Cang is ready, take it out on a grill to cool.

Step 4: For the cream we put all the ingredients in the blender and mix them well, there is no point in complicating ourselves and taking them one by one because we would complicate ourselves unnecessarily. Spread the cream over the cooled cake, portion it and put half a plum on top of each slice, and that was about it.

Step 5: Initially I thought of decorating with caramel, but I said it wouldn't make sense to load it extra, and the fruits are more effective, especially when it's their season. So I stuck to the fruit! Simple and fast, that's how I would characterize this cake. but I would also add - of course - delicious! It could have been different ???

Ingredients Cake with plums and walnuts


  • 5 yolks
  • 300 g flour
  • 200 g sugar
  • 100 ml oil
  • 150 ml yogurt (I put homemade)
  • 10 g baking powder
  • a little salt
  • a teaspoon of vanilla essence

How to prepare the cake with plums and walnuts

To start, put the yolks in a bowl together with the sugar and salt.

Mix until the sugar is diluted.

Add the oil, little by little, stirring constantly. Add the yogurt, vanilla and mix.

Mix the flour with the baking powder, sift them and easily incorporate them into the composition.

Wallpaper a 25/30 cm tray with baking paper. Spread the composition evenly.

Place half of the plum on top, peel down.

Put the tray in the preheated oven (at least 5 minutes before) and bake the cake on stage 2, at 175-180 degrees, for about 30 minutes. The cake should be slightly browned.

While baking, mix the egg whites, gradually adding the sugar. Stop when the sugar is completely diluted and the foam is firm.

Lightly incorporate ground walnuts.

After 30 minutes, remove the cake and quickly spread the egg white evenly.

Bake the cake with plums and walnuts for another 15 minutes, until the meringue browns slightly.

Cheese filling:

  • 500 gr Quark cheese
  • 50 gr soft butter
  • 120 gr sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 30 gr starch
  • grated peel of 1 lemon
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 9-10 plums
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Put all the ingredients, except the eggs, and mix lightly. Add one egg at a time and mix only until incorporated.

Preheat the oven to 160 degrees.

We spread the dough by hand in a tray greased with a little oil and powdered with flour. Then pour the cheese, and carefully place the plum halves on top. Sprinkle a little cinnamon mixed with sugar on top of each plum. Bake for 50-55 minutes until it starts to brown on the edges. Then let it cool. Enjoy!
