And we as moms also need calcium to keep us strong and beautiful. So this morning drink an eight ounce glass of fresh milk to start the day with the right foot. And offer a glass to your children to complete the yummy breakfast you prepared them.
There are many ways to enjoy milk in the morning. In smoothies combined with fruits, with coffee, with cereal. I love overnight oats with milk it is an easy breakfast option and you can make the night before.
Or, why not enjoy a fresh strawberry milk ice cream. Who would not like to start the day eating homemade ice cream with fresh fruit and milk as part of the breakfast. I do not see any objection to this idea. In fact, the kids will be very happy when you tell them that there is ice cream for breakfast.

strawberries, chopped (I used organic frozen with great results)
In a small pot, heat strawberries, sugar and water until boiling (it's a bit like making jam). Let boil for about 10 minutes mixture will reduce and thicken slightly. Using a fine sieve or mesh strainer, strain the mixture into a small bowl. You can save the cooked strawberries to add to yogurt or put on pancakes. Set the strawberry syrup aside.
Chill two small glasses in the freezer for about 10 minutes. Add 3/4 cup milk to each glass. Swirl in 3 tablespoons of the strawberry syrup into each glass of milk (more or less, depending on desired sweetness). You will have a little strawberry syrup left over, perfect for pancakes or adding to soda water.
Bring strawberries, sugar, and ¼ cup water to a boil over medium heat, then reduce heat and simmer, skimming occasionally, until strawberries are soft and fragrant, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and add vanilla bean. Let cool completely, at least 1 hour.
Strain strawberry mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a small bowl, pressing strawberries to extract as much juice as possible discard solids, then chill syrup at least 1 hour. To serve, stir ¼ cup syrup into 1 cup milk.
Do Ahead: Strawberry syrup can be made 1 week ahead. Store in an airtight container and chill.

Easy Homemade Strawberry Milk for One or Two
Hey, it’s strawberry season! My very favorite fruit season (except for maybe sweet cherry season), and the time when strawberries are so good and SO cheap (at least here in California) that I *always* end up buying way too many.
Then I just have a pounds and pounds of strawberries sitting in my fridge or on my counter smelling amazing while I try to eat my way through them before they rot.
And since I figure that I’m probably not the only one with an overabundance of strawberries right about now, I thought that I’d share something to make with some of those extras:

And if you think you don’t love strawberry milk, maybe you just don’t like the stuff that comes powdered in a can or lukewarm on lunch trays.
Because this strawberry milk? This strawberry milk is a GD delight.
Fruity, creamy, subtly sweet, it’s pretty much all your strawberries and cream dreams come to life.
And it’s made entirely from scratch. No pink powder required.
The ingredients are simple: strawberries, sugar, a bit of water, and a tall, cold glass of milk. The strawberries, sugar, and water simmer together to make strawberry syrup, and then you stir that into your milk, and you’re done.
Unlike my (crazy popular) Chocolate Milk for One, which makes exactly one cup of milk, this recipe makes a little over two cups of strawberry milk, enough for one big glass or two smaller cups.
It also easily doubles or triples for times when you feel like leftovers.
And if you went extra crazy at the farmers market and have way, way too many strawberries, stay tuned, I’ll be sharing a larger version of this recipe in the next few weeks.
Strawberry Milk recipes
I'm looking for a good Strawberry milk recipe. I used to vape 1992 from vaportrailsnw all day long. The new recipe is good, but not what it used to be. I've been doing diy for a few weeks and get close, but not close enough Imo. Any suggestions are appreciated.
I'm assuming you want to do v1 and not v2. If that's the case, what I'm about to say may or may not help since I've never had the v1.
On Saturday, a large bottle of 1992 v2 arrived which was made on 12/1. Smelling it, all I could smell was Strawberry Ripe. Vaping it, all I could taste was Bavarian Cream. Today, it smells like Strawberry Ripe with another Strawberry.
With this info, and knowing that v1 had acetoin that prompted the reformulation. I would try Strawberry Ripe with either TFA Strawberry or CAP Sweet Strawberry. I think the Sweet Cream and Dairy are going in the right direction. In the recipes he released, a few contained Dairy and he mentioned that it was critical to the recipe.
I did make an attempt a couple months ago that was pretty decent using milkstone but the coconut in the milkstone made it a little weird. It also gunked coils faster than anything else I've ever vaped but I think that was the high amounts of Strawberries, regular and ripe. It was very good fresh which led me to believe it could have been better with adjustments and steeping.
My goal in my attempt was to replicate the taste of the Strawberry Milk I was buying while in Japan. Not exactly a Strawberry Quik type flavor but close.
Iɽ like to hear about your further attempts, and I will revisit my attempts. Maybe we can get something that pleases us both. :)
Tasty Strawberry Milkshake Recipes
It’s not surprizing that my easy blender milkshake recipes have become a favorite for many people, the strawberry milkshakes are so simple to make in your blender… And they taste great to!
The Basic Strawberry Milkshake Recipe
I prefer to use frozen strawberries in this particular milkshake, the frozen strawberries make the milkshake thicker and colder than fresh ones and they still have lots of natural goodness in them.
You will need:
- 2 scoops of vanilla or strawberry ice cream.
- 1 cup of milk.
- 6 fresh strawberries or 1/2 a cup of frozen strawberries.
Put all the ingredients into the blender and blend together until smooth then pour into a large glass and add more strawberries on top to decorate.
You can change the recipe to suit your needs and you can add more strawberries or ice cream in the mix to suit your tastes. You might even add a banana to give your milkshake a creamier texture.
The beauty of making your own milkshake is you have total control of what’s included.
Strawberry and Banana Milkshake Recipe
The banana in this milkshakes gives it a lovely creamy texture, throw in a handful of fresh strawberries, 2 scoops of ice cream and a half cup of milk and you get a great fresh fruit milkshake.
You will need:
- 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream.
- 1/2 cup milk.
- 1/2 cup frozen or fresh strawberries.
- 1 banana.
Add all the ingredients to the blender and blend until smooth.
The Ultimate Strawberry Milkshake Recipe
The ultimate starwberry milkshake may look a little pasty but it’s bursting with sweet strawberry flavour.
I’ve used homemade ice cream here, but any strawberry ice cream is going to taste good in this milkshake!
It’s one of my favorite recipes, and really captures the essence of a natural ripe watermelon, all the way down to its texture. That recipe has also already been released, so feel free to mix it up if you have the ingredients (but also buy it too, ’cause it’ll help me out…only if you want of course).

How to Make Strawberry Milk
If you were a kid raised on the powdered stuff like I was, you might be surprised at just how easy it is to make strawberry milk at home. You just need four ingredients, 15 minutes, a pot, and an optional fine-mesh strainer.
- Start by combining all your ingredients in a medium pot. Bring to a low boil and cook for 10 minutes.
- Drain liquid and discard (or eat) cooked strawberries.
- Stir a few tablespoons of the syrup into cold milk.
And that’s it. Tell me you wouldn’t have been making this *daily* during strawberry season as a kid.
Gather all of your ingredients and let&rsquos get started with our delicious recipe! The first step of this recipe is to boil the strawberries, sugar and water in a saucepan, simmering it for about 10 minutes.
Now transfer it to a blender and blend until smooth. Alternatively you could use a immersion blender (I love this tool, especially for soups!). Either way, the boiled mixture will be hot, so please be careful.
After blending the strawberry sugar mixture, you&rsquoll end up with a syrup. To serve add about 3-4 tablespoons of the strawberry syrup into a cup of milk and stir to fully combine.
With just a bit of stirring, you&rsquoll have a healthier homemade strawberry milk! A great kid-friendly drink for breakfast or snack time!
This recipe yields about 6 ounces of strawberry syrup, which will make 4 servings. Store syrup in a covered mason jar in the refrigerator. This will keep for 1-2 weeks.
