Two weeks ago it was my mother's birthday and as she likes cakes with less cream and as fluffy as possible I said to try this recipe. I saw the recipe on TvPaprika on a show with a very nice lady, but I have no idea what her name is.
Anyway, a goodness cake came out, which I arranged as I knew how: d.

  • 6 egg whites
  • 6 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 baking powder
  • 5 tablespoons flour
  • vanilla extract
  • a few drops of lemon juice
  • Pt cream:
  • 200 gr mascarpone
  • 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 200 ml whipped cream
  • For decoration:
  • candied cherries
  • Almond flakes
  • 50 gr chocolate

Preparation time: less than 15 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Angel cake:

Prepare a round tray with a diameter of 20cm that we grease well with butter and line it with flour, or put baking paper

Beat the egg whites with the sugar, vanilla extract and lemon juice. When it is hard (if you turn the bowl over it does not flow) add the flour previously mixed with the baking powder.

Homogenize by inverting and pour into the pan.

Put the tray in the preheated oven at 180 degrees and leave for about 30 minutes. We do the test with the toothpick and if it stays clean we turn off the fire and leave the top for another 10 minutes in the heat in the oven.

Let it cool.

Beat the mascarpone with powdered sugar (taste, maybe it's not sweet enough for you), beat the whipped cream and mix them.

Grease the top well with mascarpone cream and garnish.


Let cool until ready to serve.
